With the restrictions lifting just in time for public gatherings we were pleasantly surprised to see how many riders came out to test their skills on the Velosolutions Pump Track this past Sunday.  After a Saturday night filled with the fastest riders in the world it was exciting to see how the Sunday riders stacked up.  We were stoked to see a few of the pro’s come out for the 17+ class as well.

The Gaston County George Poston Park and its staff proved to be a great host for the event.  The very symmetrical layout and tall berms allowed for fun by all skill levels!  The experience for the younger age groups was really inspiring.  Seeing first time racers get to experience the event and take a step on the podium was heart warming.

Hyper Bicycles is one of our partners in the series and they came through big time giving away 5 bicycles to some very well deserving kids.  They also hooked up every rider with a custom water bottle, some got t shirts and hats as well.

Our main goal this event was to fine tune the format and make sure everyone had a good time and we feel that we exceeded that on all levels!  Thank you to all who came out to experience the USAPTC and to our host Gaston County.  Thank you as well to our sponsors who make this event possible; The Walton Family Foundation, Hyper Bicycles, SEVEN and Velosolutions.
